Membership in the CYCCF shall be extended to all classes of members in good standing of the Coronado Yacht Club, stressing owners, charterers or principal users of boats whether or not the boat is berthed at the yacht club. The principal user of the boat shall normally exercise the privilege of voting; however a spouse, parent, son or daughter, not normally the principal user may exercise this privilege in the absence of the principal user. Regardless of the number of boats owned or represented, any member is entitled to one vote only.

The organization shall consist of two elected officers: a Cruising Fleet Captain and a Secretary-Treasurer with committees as required and appointed by the Cruising Fleet Captain. Committees or a Cruise Pilot may be appointed for individual cruises. Other committees may be appointed as required by the Cruising Fleet Captain. Elected officers shall not serve more than two consecutive terms in one office.
